A recommended place to print posters is Codes (near Bronson and Gladstone)

Some of you might have seen posters printed on polyester lately. I saw several at the cognitive science conference. The advantages of this over paper are significant: they are cheaper (I think around $30), they don't get ruined as easily, they can be crumpled up and stuffed in a backpack, and you can iron them at the hotel on site. The downside is that they are smaller and you have to do it earlier as they need to be ordered over the web. I'm going to be doing it this way from now on.

A new service called spoonflower.com allows you to print on polyester.

Here's a company that does it.
